Volunteer Opportunities

Below you’ll find current, immediate needs and ongoing committee opportunities.

 

Current Needs:

Sometimes we have extra tasks come up that a volunteer can do. Do you have time to help out?

Gala & Auction: Join the committee and help us get ready for the Fall Gala!

Data Entry: Help us update our contacts. If you can use a computer you can help with this task. Confidentiality required and must be done at our office.

Events: Help with general set-up and tear down of events.

Teams & Committees

Committees have a huge impact but they are also fun and have perks like attending events for free and making new friends!

Joining a committee does NOT mean you have to do it all. Join to stay in the loop and commit to what your life permits.

 

Events Committee

Are you a planner? Creative? Organized? People person?

This team of amazing people make the annual Gala and Life Talks conference a success.

They have planning meetings and buzz with activity as we draw closer to an event.

Join this committee if you want to be involved in the event - determine your commitment level once you’re there.

Perks include attending the event for free!

Life Teams

Be the connection between Halton Alive and your sphere of influence - whatever that may be! As a liaison, you’ll be involved in:

  • promoting upcoming events

  • helping us make new connections by doing introductions

  • distributing materials when needed

  • confirming announcement are made and that information is getting where it needs to go!

SPARK Resource

Be part of a team dedicated to developing the SPARK Resource, which equips parents and educators with the tools and ideas to engage kids on life issues.

If you have skills in research, writing, branding, working with kids/teens, teaching, creativity, etc. this is the place for you!

Host a Fundraiser

Help us raise funds through your connections, passion, and skills.

Plan an event with proceeds supporting Halton Alive.

Talk to your contacts or businesses you know about supporting Halton Alive.

We do A LOT with a little at Halton Alive but the more we raise the more we can do!
