What’s a Halton Alive Information Booth?

It’s a periodic visible and interactive space where church members can connect with the Life Team, sign up for programs and pick up resource material. It gives you a great opportunity to greet and interact with church members as they leave the building.

When do I set them up?

Before a specific pro-life event for promotion and at other strategic dates to promote a particular program. Always have permission and confirm dates with the point person at your church.

 
 

Information Booth Etiquette

Presentation:

  • Be in a visible, convenient location.

  • Keep set up attractive and orderly. We provide you with a kit of all you need!

Engage and approach people: (sample talking points)

  • Stand to the side/in front of the booth.

  • Be prepared with a hand out and initial one-liner. Always have something people can get involved in immediately (ie. invite them to the next event or your regular prayer time)

  • Know your HA FAQs.

Things to encourage those who approach the booth:

  • Email/phone sign-up - always read their email and confirm the handwriting.

  • Next event to attend - based on who they are & what will interest them
